Our Trip: Chapter One: CP! Get-Together: Day 2

I think my brothers and I woke up around...I don't know, 9 o'clock, maybe. It was late, that's all I know. But the Crist's were gracious and didn't come whacking us with pillows. (Although, that would have been hilarious!) So, on with the morning. We took showers, beautified ourselves, you know, all that jazz and went upstairs, said our goodmornings and had crepes for breakfast. Okay, I've never really had a crepe before so I didn't exactly know how to eat it...so I just dove right in and ate it like a pancake. Uh-uh. Not how it's done, folks. As Mrs. Crist taught me, you roll it up. So now I am quite the crepe-eating-master.
Afterwards, we went to pick up Tess and Josh from their Greek class which Aubrey taught. Then we went right across the street to Wal-Mart. *Living the life! =)* We picked up some necessary items for that night, went over to Aubrey's new home to drop her off, got a quick tour of it, then went back to the Crist's home. They then took us on a tour of their 400 acres. It was amazing. They have cattle, sheep, corn, a river, a swimming pond, the whole nine yards. Even a baseball diamond. It's nice. After that, we had lunch, talked, hung out, and then the other guys arrived. (I'm kinda going fast through all the details because knowing me, I would probably take two pages to describe the color of my brothers room. I don't want to do that here. Well, since I don't want to be the one to steal their thunder, let's get back to the guys that just arrived.) Their names were Kevin Miller, (Maryland), Drew Boon, (Georgia), and Samuel Harris, (Illinois). So we went back to the hi-it's-nice-to-meet-you's and the what-degree-are-you-getting kind of stuff. We then walked some of the Crist's property and did some other stuff that I can't recall right now. Oh, yes! I remember. Kemps. (How do you spell that?) I actually did it before the fella's arrived but since I'm too lazy to go back and delete what I just wrote to get it accurate, I'll just leave it like this. So I learned how to play a card game called Kemps. I never played it before and my teacher was a girl by the name of Jenna. It was...interesting. She turned it into playing "school". She was the teacher and the rest of us were her pupils. If you think of it, it's kinda funny because I'm 4 heads taller that her. But hey, I thought why not. So I played along. Although I must say that I've never been sent to the principal's office so many times in 15 minutes. But the game was fun, nonetheless.

Okay, back on the accurate-track here, I played Kemps, the fellas arrived, did all the other stuff and then we had some families over for dinner and a hymn sing. So we had the priviledge of meeting the O'Sullivan's, the Caswell's, and a young guy whom name has escaped me right now! But hopefully, Brittany will read this and help me out a bit, because I'm feeling terrible about it! Anyways, we had a good time of fellowship and eating. After everybody left, Brittany, Drew, Kevin, Sam, Josh C., Tess, Nate, Josh, and myself played some Apples to Apples. T'was way too much fun. During the middle of the game another guy arrived from Minnesota named Aaron. So once again it was through the hi-it's-nice-to-meet-you and what-degree-are-you-getting stuff. So, finally, the group was all there and Aaron just jumped right in playing for Josh C. in Apples to Apples. Finally, around 11:30-ish we all said goodnight and we all zonked.
